Australian SUPER RUGBY returns to Fox Sports LIVE this weekend

FOX SPORTS, on Foxtel is the destination for rugby fans to settle in for the return of Australian rugby when the 2020 Vodafone Super Rugby AU season kicks off this weekend.

The five-team competition will showcase the best from the 15-a-side code in Australia when the NSW Waratahs, Queensland Reds, Brumbies and Melbourne Rebels are joined by the returning Western Force in a 12-week showdown for Wallabies jerseys.

FOX SPORTS rugby expert, Tim Horan, said:

“Everything has changed. This is the time for the next generation of Wallabies to show us what they’ve got and Super Rugby AU is the perfect platform to shine.”

“The Reds have got a special talent in Jordan Petaia, the Waratahs have got youngsters like Mark Nawaqanitawase ready to prosper and the Brumbies are brimming with confidence as they hold favourites tag and a chance to solidify themselves as the most successful Australian club.

“The Western Force will make a welcome return and be eager to show that they belong in Super Rugby while the Melbourne Rebels aim to fly under the radar and lift some silverware for the first time.”

The opening weekend of the 2020 Super Rugby AU season gets underway with the classic NSW vs QLD rivalry when the Reds host the Waratahs on Friday, July 3 with LIVE coverage from 7.05pm AEST.

The following night (Saturday, July 4) in Canberra, the Brumbies host the Melbourne Rebels with LIVE coverage from 7.15pm AEST.  The Western Force will make their long-awaited return to Super Rugby in Round 2 against NSW Waratahs.
