After finding love on Channel 10’s THE BACHELORETTE, Georgia Love has had her dream wedding ruined by COVID-19.

It was going to be the perfect wedding. Family and friends would gather in Italy to watch one of Australia’s best known couples ties the knot.

Georgia Love and Lee Elliot found love on reality TV series The Bachelorette, but unlike so many other TV romances, this one was real.

Since choosing Lee in 2016, the couple have been inseparable and announced their engagement last year. While they had planned to marry in Italy, those plans have been thwarted due to COVID-19:

“We’ve gone back on those plans, so we figured there’s just too many ‘what-ifs’ in the world at the moment

Now, Love has told The Ben, Rob & Robbo Show the ceremony will take place in Tasmania:

“What was a dream is now a distant memory”

The ceremony will take place next year and while speaking to Georgia I took the opportunity to suggest she ask my co-host David Robinson to officiate the wedding (after all, he did play a priest on The Bold & The Beautiful).

“Oh my God is he ordained”, asked a laughing Georgia.

Fill in co-host Susie Elelman couldn’t resist the urge to ask if there would soon be a baby on the way.

Knowing I was after another headline Georgia stated:

“I’m not saying”

Damn Georgia, damn!

My prediction: Robbo will marry the lovely couple and we will see a 2022 baby!
