Jo Mitchell returns to TV this week

A fan card of Josephine Mitchell during her time on A Country Practice

After a week of heart-felt debates (with a little bit of agro), The Ben, Rob & Robbo Show continues to be the most talked about TV show… that’s not on TV!

Last week we heard a radio executive open up about his time in a psychiatric ward, had a hilarious chat with Dave Hughes, got teary with Jessica Rowe and met a real-life underwater gold prospector.

And we were bloody exhausted by the end of it (which is why we have Tipsy Thursday at the end of every week)!

Our viewership is growing at significant rates and we’re upping the ante this week with more great guests and surprises along the way.

On Monday we’ll be meeting the eliminated contestant from Channel 10’s ratings smash MasterChef. It’s getting down to crunch time as our favourite contestants are sent home… and the person eliminated on Sunday night will be joining us for a special chat.

Tuesday a legend of the small screen joins us. We all remember when Josephine Mitchell adorned the pages of TV WEEK practically every week. We loved her in A Country Practice, Home and Away and so many other productions. To say we are thrilled to be talking to her would be an understatement.

On Wednesday another over-achiever joins us! You might not realise it, but Bonnie Lythgoe has played a hand in some of the biggest television productions around the world. From American Idol to So You Think You Can Dance, Bonnie has been a force to be reckoned with both on and off the screen. But the biggest shock of Bonnie’s life came a few years ago when she met her father for the first time after decades apart. What happened next will break your heart.

If you constantly feel tried and exhausted, then you need to watch our special report on Thursday. For years host and executive producer Rob McKnight has been tired and assumed it was because of the long hours he worked. But it turns out there was something else going on and it’s something affecting over 30% of Australians. There is a simple treatment though and Rob has asked his Doctor to come on and share some easy to follow guidelines!

During the week our regulars will bring you up-to-speed with the latest in their field with Steve Molk talking TV on Monday, politics with Sam Dastyari on Tuesday, Social Media trends with Bruno Bouchet on Wednesday and Movies with Jo Casamento on Thursday.

The Ben, Rob & Robbo Showbrings media executive Rob McKnight plus Big Brother winner Ben Norris and much-loved journalist David “Robbo” Robinson together for a daily, Australia-centric show that can be viewed around the world.

Streaming live at 1pm AEST Monday to Thursday on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, this original production also airs on Ticker TV, Australia’s premiere streaming news service.
