Staying in on Saturday nights never looked so enticing with two of Australia’s favourite cooks back to back from 7:30pm. Cook like an Italian with Silvia Colloca will be encored from May 30 with the passionate home cook and author sharing her treasured Italian recipes including everything you knead to know about baking like how to make bread in your sleep.

In case you missed it first time round, season 2 of Poh & Co. follows at 8pm. With Winter fast approaching, join the much-loved MasterChef favourite on a fun-filled adventure as she whips up hearty Chicken & Lentil Soup; Brioche Buns and No-Knead Crusty Loaf. Viewers can still enjoy season one of Poh & Co. Thursdays at 9pm.

Other programming highlights include Nigella Express weeknights at 7pm from Monday May 25. Fast and fabulous recipes for every occasion and any time frame, domestic goddess Nigella Lawson shares her tips on how to create delicious food at home. Nigella Feasts airs from Thursday June 11 at 7pm, with comfort foods like soothing beef casserole served with double potato mash and recipes you can enjoy home alone, like simple spaghetti carbonara eaten straight from the pan.

For everyone who’s discovered the joys of cooking and baking in recent months, there’s plenty more in store on SBS Food. Lorraine Pascale: Home Cooking Made Easy starts Tuesday May 19 at 8pm. Dubbed the Queen of Baking, Lorraine uses her cooking know-how to inspire everyone to home cook the food they love including how to make the simplest bread without kneading or rising.

Season five of Martha Bakes begins weeknights from Monday June 1 at 5.30pm with the domestic doyenne sharing the tools home cooks need to take their baking to new levels. She’ll demonstrate the best baking techniques and how to implement them in classic cakes, traditional pastries and innovative pies and tarts.

Donna Hay: Basics to Brilliance starts Wednesday June 10 at 8pm with Australia’s favourite cookbook author teaching viewers how to master a repertoire of simple recipes from molten choc chunk brownies to the perfect pavlova and transform them into something brilliant.

Creative juices are flowing now more than ever and SBS Food Online is providing plenty of inspiration with recipes from more than 100 cuisines, plus how to articles, video tutorials and blogs. From learning to make sourdough without any fancy equipment, cake without flour and brownies while you sleep, the online portal has everything you need to join the iso-baking craze.
