Australia is about to meet the next two housemates starring in the new series of BIG BROTHER… and there’s a reason they are being announced at the same time.
Chad Hurst (from NSW) and Sophie Budack (from NT) will both be vying for $250,000 in the rebooted series of Big Brother set to air in 3 weeks. Channel 7 has already released their pictures on social media and their accounts have now been shut down.
BUT TV Blackbox can reveal both have media careers in what is becoming a common theme with the casting of this series.
Chad is a model who is represented by a major company and Sophie is a former Olympic level gymnast and winner of the Gold Coast 600 Miss Supercars title.
Sources tell TV Blackbox the pair had chemistry from the moment they both entered the house and there are rumours the two became romantically involved during their time in the house.
As we have previously revealed the entire series has already been filmed, with only the Grand Finale still to be done.
Don’t forget our podcast series EYE ON BIG BROTHER looks at all the latest news and talks to previous winner of the series. In the latest episode narrator Mike Goldman shares some backstage stories even the most diehard fan is unlikely to know.
