In the promos the new voice of Big Brother tells us he has been watching us. Unfortunately for Endemol Shine Australia someone forgot to watch the all-important list of contestants who will be taking part in the 2020 series set to screen on Channel 7 in June.

Because that list has been leaked… to our very own Benjamin Norris.

It appears producers have been casting a set of characters to play the game and have gathered a Tradie, nerdy scientist, mummy blogger, sports star and corporate type.

TV Blackbox understands the character types were chosen to reflect modern Australia.

Today on our new streaming show The Ben, Rob & Robbo Show, Benjamin Norris revealed details about the first contestant – Ian W from Western Australia.

“He is a big fan of archaeology, I’m not necessarily sure if archaeology is what he does for his profession”

Norris also says Ian quickly became a favourite with producers during the audition process;

“That signature hat that you can see him wearing on the show is a bit of a talking point, a way of him getting to know people. Apparently he is a very good conversationalist and from all that I’ve heard apparently he does very well on this upcoming series”

The highly anticipated new series will launch in June and is set to redefine Big Brother and the way it is produced.

You can watch Ben’s report in the video above at 1.04.48
