In tonight’s epic and audience-less episode of 10’s Dancing With The Stars, Chloe Lattanzi and dance partner Gustavo Viglio departed the dance floor.

For the bottom two celebs the dreaded dance-off was back, and saw Ed and Jorja and Chloe and Gustavo step out in front of the judges for third time. Unfortunately for Chloe and Gustavo, their cha cha wasn’t enough to prove they were strong enough to stay in the competition.

On leaving 10’s Dancing With The Stars Chloe said “I’m so grateful to be here. I’ve got so many more great things to do.”

From finalist to judge in just 12 months, Courtney Act was back, and back she was! Joining Craig Revel Horwood, Sharna Burgess and Tristan MacManus at the desk, Courtney knew all too well what our celebs were feeling.

First up was Celia Pacquola who stepped out onto the dance floor with a cracking Charleston routine that wowed the judges. Sharna said: “That is how you open the damn show! The routine was phenomenal.”

Performing the tango, Ed Kavalee and partner Jorga showed just how far they’d come with Tristan commenting “Your technique has really improved, it came together and you’ve done a superb job.”

Claudia Karvan exposed a side of her that we hadn’t seen yet with a raw and emotional contemporary routine. “Although you missed hitting the shoulder lift, I loved it” said Craig.

Coming off the back of an almost perfect week, Christian Wilkins felt the pressure as he tackled the quickstep. He found a fan in Courtney with a standing ovation and the words “I’m in love with you! I really enjoy watching you dance every week. This was beautiful.”

Taking the bull by the horns, Chloe Lattanzi impressed with her Paso Doble. Last week Tristan asked for more grit and what Tristan asks for, Tristan receives. “I loved your attack, it was full of grit.  You are definitely on the way up and not the way down.”

Out for redemption after a suffering through a bottom two dance off performance last week, Dami Im put it on all on the line with a dark and powerful tango. Sharna said: “I thought you stepped it up from last week but this is a tough comp so you’re going to need to step it up tenfold.”

Then came time for the judges to face off. The gloves were off and the dance shoes were on as Craig, Sharna and Tristan went head-to-head in the ultimate battle as they lead their own team of celebs in three jaw-dropping routines that contributed significantly to the stars overall scores.

The two judges not performing, along with guest judge Courtney Act, were armed and ready to score each group routine, and nobody could afford to put a foot wrong.

Teaming up with resident top of the table placeholders, Celia and Claudia, Sharna pushed them physically with an empowering and complex routine. Courtney loved it scoring a 10 and said: “Oh my god-ess! It was powerful, it was defiant. Girl Power!”

Ed and Dami’s concentration faces were out in full force this week as Tristan took them through his routine that was all about love and fun.  “Dreadful” commented Craig. “No, it was a like a big warm hug.  It was gorgeous and was lovely to bring the community together with something like that.”

Craig teamed up with Chloe and Christian, alongside their respective dance partners, in a routine that went to new heights (literally). Channelling their inner drag queens, team Craig strapped on their heels and brought out their inner divas with a throwback to the disco era. “Dull, dull, dull” quipped Sharna. “Just joking, it was the furthest thing from dull, it was so fun!”

With Chloe bidding the competition a farewell, the Sensational Six became the Fab.U.Lous Five. And if you think three’s a crowd, we’re about to prove you wrong. We’ve matched our remaining dance couples with an eliminated professional dancer to perform as a trio in another showstopping episode of Dancing With The Stars next Sunday. Will we have our audience back? Who knows.
