MOTHER AND DAUGHTER TEAM PRUE & CAITLAN WIN BEST IN SHOW WITH GROODLE OWEN
Tonight on POOCH PERFECT, stylists were challenged to create the perfect cut focusing on shape. Teams competed to put the cute into ‘acute’ angles to wow judges AMBER LEWIN and COLIN TAYLOR with their precision scissoring and imagination.
While some of the stylists clips were in shipshape, others went a little pear shaped. But it was mother and daughter team Prue and Caitlan who won Best in Show with their impressive shell inspired styling of Groodle, Owen.
Judges’ Comments:
Amber Lewin: “I love this! It looks like a seashell. This is a show stopper. The spiral seashell is amazing and the scissoring is absolutely beautiful.”
Colin Taylor: “He looks like he could walk down a catwalk with a top model. It’s absolutely breath taking. Well done.”
Best in Show Team:
Prue: “We are stoked that we won best in show today. It was not expected at all. We’re so happy!”
The news wasn’t so great for Jacqui & Chelsey, Davina & Natasha and Tash & Monique who went straight from the dog walk to the elimination round.
Fighting to stay in the competition, the bottom three stylists were challenged to style a small, medium or large dog with judges looking for a clear vision executed well.
Jacqui & Chelsey impressed the judges with their styling of large Old English Sheepdog, Yogi and Tash & Monique hit the mark with Pablo the Pomeranian. But it was a bad news for Davina & Natasha with Amber not rating their wedding dress styling concept and Colin criticising their scissoring technique of Tibetan Terrier, Rory.
On their elimination, Davina said: “We’ve loved this competition, we don’t want to go home. But we’re one hundred percent proud of what we did. I will definitely keep styling forever.”

This show is truly terrible! Who honestly thought this would work? A five year old could think of a better show to put to air. How embarrassing.
This show is boring. Plus, I would suggest losing the last challenge with the bottom groomers, it just drags beyond belief.
I tried to give this a go, but I found my phone more entertaining. Can’t put my finger on it, but it’s lacking something. Just a little flat in general and it goes for way too long. Sorry.
