Re the Brian May/News Cameraman
I can say as an old news cameraman your job/livelihood is to shoot whatever moves until that event is over. If that cameraman stoped covering Brian by putting down his tools and then in an likely event Brian is attacked or some other unforeseen event takes place than the news cameraman has missed what would be a world news story and a piece recorded history, much like John Lennon & JFK.
