Disney reports 26.5 million Disney+ subscribers

Disney said in its fiscal Q1 earnings report on Tuesday that its new streaming service, Disney+, now has 26.5 million subscribers since its launch on November 12. Guggenheim’s Michael Morris projected that Disney would report 25 million paid subs for the quarter.

  1. Season 10 of CYE is off to a good start, but sorely lacking in ONE thing…Curb Your Enthusiasm wont be the same without Bob Einstein (Funkhouser). For the actual SEASON 10 tribute to Bob (incl a ‘backhanded’ eulogy from his brother, Albert Brooks) , you might look at this:  http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1713309033
    Even Jeff Schaffer can’t write around that absence and more Richard Lewis and JB/Leon screen time wont replace the Einstein/Funkhouser moments with LD.
