Mega weekend for A-League with Triple-Header of mouth-watering Derbies | #ALeague

Football fans are in for an explosive weekend of football in Round 18 of the A-League (rebel Play Football Round) with a triple-header of mouth-watering derbies this weekend, with FOX SPORTS, on Foxtel, showcasing every match LIVE.

It all kicks off on Friday, February 7 with the final Melbourne Derby of the season as Melbourne Victory and Melbourne City lock horns at AAMI Park. Melbourne City will be looking to even the score with Victory claiming a 2-1 win in their last encounter. LIVE pre-game coverage begins at 7.00pm with kick off from 7.30pm AEDT on FOX SPORTS 505.

Host Tara Rushton alongside expert commentators Andy Harper and Mark Bosnich will call all of the action in-studio with Simon Hill, Robbie Slater and Archie Thompson on ground at AAMI Park.

On Saturday, February 8, Netstrata Jubilee Stadium lights up hosting its first Sydney Derby between Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers. Mitch Duke’s goal sealed the 1-0 win over the reigning champions in their first meeting, leaving the season’s table leaders Sydney FC hungry for redemption. LIVE pre-game coverage begins at 4.30pm with kick off at 5.00pm AEDT on FOX SPORTS 505.

Adam Peacock will be in studio alongside Mark Bosnich and former Sydney FC captain Alex Brosque, and at Kogarah Tara Rushton joins Andy Harper and Brenton Speed. 

The round concludes with Newcastle Jets hosting Central Coast Mariners at McDonald Jones Stadium for the F3 Derby, where both teams will be eager to claim bragging rights this time around after their first match resulted in a draw. LIVE pre-game coverage begins at 3.30pm with kick off at 4.00pm AEDT on FOX SPORTS 505.
