It has become summers favourite guessing game, just who are the celebrities going into the African jungle?

Based on the clues supplied by 10, I have put my thinking cap on and come up with these predictions.

Making things a little different this year, 10 has already confirmed two names prior to the premiere. This season will feature the bold personality of Geordie Shore star, Charlotte Crosby. While the always fun Living Room presenter Miguel Maestre is also locked in.

However, we still have clues for 12 further celebrities to speculate on. With such a big cast, it’s unlikely all will enter the camp on opening night.

Adding to the challenge this year, I have been reliably informed the casting team have gone out of their way to pick some overly obscure ‘celebs’.

It’s worth noting I have a mixed history of doing these lists. In 2018 I surprised myself getting 10 out of 12 correct. Not bad considering my worst effort was in 2016 where I scored a miserable 3, so please folks, gamble responsibly… 😉

Making this prediction game extra challenging is the fact 10 have a history of being rather misleading with the clues, remember that time a ‘Hollywood Heartthrob’ turned out to be former Neighbours actor Dean Geyer.

Let me know what I’ve got wrong and who you think is going in & why – drop your best guesses in the comments section below!

Clue 1 – The Leading Lady

  • How will this screen siren fair trading in her air-conditioned trailer for the stuffy confessional of the Tok Tokkie?

  • A familiar face to Australian households, this Order Of Australia recipient knows how to put on a show.

  • Stepping away from the spotlight and into the unpredictable South African terrain will be a world away from what this celebrity is used to.

Rhonda Burchmore

She has been a rumoured tribe member since season one. Rhonda Burchmore was awarded a medal of the Order of Australia in 2014 for service to the performing arts, and to the community.

Clue 2 – A Footy Legend

  • This Aussie larrikin is one of the biggest characters the game has seen.

  • With a squad of celebrities playing hard ball for the title of King or Queen of the Jungle, will this athlete manage to maintain their team player mentality?

  • The siren may have sounded on his final game of footy, but is this king of the field match-fit for the jungle?

Billy Brownless

His former Footy Show mate Shane Crawford was the stand-out star of last season. Billy Brownless exudes energy and was born ready for this TV format. Come on 10, lock him in!

Clue 3 – A Blonde Bombshell

  • Stripped of all her luxuries and dropped into the South African jungle, how will this reality television beauty cope swapping high fashion for high challenges?

  • You last saw her in a tropical paradise… but this diva Dorothy is a long way from Kansas.

Erin Barnett

One of the few on Love Island with a genuine personality, Erin Barnett understands what is required for good reality TV, and will deliver the producers exactly what they require.

Clue 4 – A Famous DJ

  • A famous DJ. With a Logie? Who makes people LAUGH.

  • This headliner may be used to life in the limelight, but how will they handle life by the campfire?

Alex Dimitriades

Many have speculated the famous ‘DJ’ entering the jungle is actually comedian Dilruk Jayasinha. I’ve made the decision to go a bit more obscure and lock in acting favourite Alex Dimitriades. Who knew he was also a DJ?? I certainly didn’t until I did some googling, but apparently it’s his first love.

Clue 5 – An Aussie Comedian

  • From the comedy club to African grub, an Aussie comedian is making their way into the South African jungle.

  • Word on the jungle vine is that this controversial blonde is no Barbie.

  • Stepping away from the microphone and thrown into the wilds of the jungle with a mixed bag of celebrities, will be no laughing matter.

Nikki Osborne

Now, this is a name possibly only recognised by true Australian TV tragics. Nikki Osbourne rose to “fame” as a host on Nine’s short-lived late-night cash grab Quizmania. Since then she has moved onto a career in acting, and last year performed her comedy show ‘Bad Barbie’ at the Enmore Theatre.

Clue 6 – A Dreamy Television Presenter

  • This radio and television hunk once famously lost his shirt.

  • Strap yourself in Mr. TV Presenter, because it’s a long and winding road to a South African victory.

Tom Williams

Since quitting TV in 2018 we haven’t seen much of Tom Williams, but who could forget his famous shirt-ripping performance on Dancing with the Stars…

Update: Since the publication of this article, 10 has indeed confirmed Tom Williams as entering the jungle.

Clue 7 – A Pop Culture Guru

  • From the tabloids to the Tok Tokkie, a pop culture guru is making their way into the South African jungle.

  • This presenter allegedly spends a lot of time with their Aunty.

Adam Richard

Famous for razor-sharp quick wit, Adam Richard is bound to deliver biting commentary on his fellow campmates. Also, he has curiously gone missing from his regular gig on ABC series Whovians.

Update: Since the original publication of this article 10 has now confirmed the ‘Pop Culture Guru’ as Spicks and Specks team captain Myf Warhurst.

Clue 8 – Loveable Larrakin

  • Word on the jungle vine is that this reality star is going from one controversial experiment to another. Talk about putting the mental in experimental!

  • This reality royalty isn’t afraid of a challenge, so buckle up, strap yourself in and let’s have some fun with them. Mwah-ha-ha.

Ryan Gallagher

Is he really loveable? I wouldn’t have thought so, but there is no escaping the cult of #MAFS and it would appear we are destined to endure a bit more of the ‘comedy stylings’ of Ryan Gallagher.

Clue 9 – A Footy Star

  • This premiership winner is no shrinking violet.

  • Putting a competitive loudmouth in a confined space… what could possibly go wrong?

Dale ‘Daisy’ Thomas

Recently retired, former Collingwood premiership champion Daisy Thomas is ready to embark on a career in the media, and what better way to kickstart it than with a few jungle hi-jinks.

Clue 10 – An Artist

  • Artistry is a pretty broad area. Are they a recording artist? An escape artist? A painter?

  • We did some digging and found out that this guy really knows how to get himself out of trouble.

Anh Do

Ok, I’m nervous about this one. It’s probably the vaguest of all clues. But there’s no denying Anh Do is the most famous painter in the country, plus he has a Law Degree. This ‘Happiest Immigrant’ could provide some comedic relief for this hungry jungle cast.

Clue 11 – A Youtube Star

  • From the world wide web to a spiders web, a YouTube star is making their way into the South African jungle.

  • We don’t mean to gloat, but this presenter has over a million followers.

Tanya Hennessy

Many of you may not have heard of Tanya Hennessy, but there’s no denying she has built a huge online following. Her Youtube videos, where she speaks openly about her daily battle with depression, attracts thousands of views and her Facebook following now ranks over 1.1 million.

Clue 12 – A Gossip Guru

  • Not so secret squirrel – apparently this influencer is world famous for their feuds.

  • And, they’re bringing the tea and we bet it’s scathing hot. Talk about the mouth from the South… of Africa.

  • They might be a gossip queen… but will they be the queen of the jungle?

Francesca Hung

Recently named as the new show business reporter for E!, Francesca Hung came to prominence when she represented Australia in the Miss Universe contest in 2018. It proved to be a controversial appearance after a viral video circulated of her bad-mouthing fellow contestants.

Well that’s my best effort. I will say its been tougher than usual this year and I wont be surprised If I got at least a couple wrong. Let me know what you think, drop your best guesses in the comments section below!

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Season 6 premieres this Sunday at 7pm on 10 and WIN.
