Broadcast Schedule confirmed for Week Two and Three of AFL Finals

After a weekend of one-sided contests resulting in Essendon and the Bulldogs being eliminated, the AFL has confirmed the broadcast fixture for the next two weeks.

The schedule for weeks two and three of the 2019 Toyota AFL Finals Series is:

Friday, September 13
First Semi-Final – Geelong Cats v West Coast Eagles at the MCG, 7.50pm AEST

Saturday, September 14
Second Semi-Final – Brisbane Lions v GWS GIANTS, The Gabba,7.25pm AEST

Friday, September 20
Second Preliminary Final – Richmond v Winner of First Semi-Final (Geelong Cats v West Coast Eagles) at the MCG, 7.50pm AEST

Saturday, September 21
First Preliminary Final – Collingwood v Winner of Second Semi-Final (Brisbane Lions v GWS GIANTS), at the MCG, start time TBC

All matches in weeks two and three will be broadcast live nationally on the Seven Network, Fox Footy, Kayo and the Telstra AFL Live App.

In next week’s two semi-final matches, all teams will have at least a seven-day break going into their next game, with Geelong to host the First Semi-Final against the West Coast Eagles as a Friday night game on September 13, and Brisbane Lions to host the Second Semi-Final against the GWS GIANTS on Saturday, September 14.

The following week’s preliminary final matches will also see all teams have at least a seven-day break leading into those games.
