Week of football action on Fox Sports with FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and FFA Cup Semi-Finals

Viewers are in a week of football action with the kick off of the Socceroos’ FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and the FFA Cup reaching the business end of competition.

The Socceroos begin their road to Qatar 2022 as they face Kuwait on Wednesday, September 11 in their first FIFA World Cup qualifying match of the group stage. The Socceroos will also face Chinese Taipei, Nepal and Jordan in their group and will need to finish top of their group to guarantee progression to the next round of qualifiers. Coverage begins from 1.30am on FOX SPORTS 505.

Then, over two big nights, the FFA Cup action continues with the top eight teams going head-to-head as they battle for places in the Semi-Finals.

FOX SPORTS, on Foxtel, will broadcast two of the quarter-finals LIVE and EXCLUSIVE, in HD with no ad-breaks during play. The remaining quarter-final matches will be streamed LIVE to FOX SPORTS digital subscribers on www.foxsports.com.au and via Kayo Sports. As part of its LIVE coverage, FOX SPORTS will also feature all the goals as they happen from the other games being streamed LIVE.

On Tuesday, September 17, Hume City FC will face Central Coast Mariners with LIVE coverage on FOX SPORTS 505 from 7.30pm, while reigning FFA Cup Champions Adelaide United take on the Newcastle Jets with coverage streamed live on www.foxsports.com.au.

The following night on Wednesday, September 18, Melbourne City FC go up against Western Sydney Wanders with LIVE coverage on FOX SPORTS 505 from 7.30pm, with the final match seeing an NPL clash between Brisbane Strikers and Moreland Zebras streaming live on www.foxsports.com.au.
