Neighbours gets new Digital Spin-Off series to focus on teen issues

Popular Australian soap drama Neighbours is getting a spin-off series.

The new 5-part special series titled Neighbours: Erinsborough High, will focus on the school setting and explore issues such as bullying, mental illness, sexuality, cultural diversity, and parental and peer pressure.

The five 22-minute episodes are being produced by Fremantle Media for Channel 5 in the UK, and will feature a number of series regulars including Olivia Junkeer, Georgie Stone, Lachlan Millar, and Benny Turlandare. Grace O'Sullivan and Darius Amarfio-Jefferson will also feature.

Australian viewers will be able to stream the limited series on 10Play.
