Recently retired ABC newsreader Ian Henderson sets out on a quest to find the secrets of ageing healthily.

He meets Australian scientists working at the cutting edge of ageing biology and learns that their research isn’t JUST about making us live longer, but ALSO about keeping us healthier into old age – improving our ‘healthspan’.
