FIFA Women’s World Cup Final to be broadcast LIVE on SBS and Optus Sport

The month-long FIFA Women’s World Cup tournament comes down to the final match on Monday morning (AEST), when the USA play the Netherlands in Lyon, France.

Live coverage of the two semi-finals will be provided by Optus Sports and SBS.

USA will go into the final as favourites, but the Netherlands won’t be deterred by the challenge of taking on the number one ranked team.

SBS coverage will be hosted by esteemed sports journalist, Tracey Holmes and former Socceroo Captain, Craig Foster and with exclusive analysis from ex-Matilda Joey Peters.

All SBS matches feature exclusive commentary from David Basheer and former Matilda Sarah Walsh and extensive analysis live from France.

Optus Sport continues to provide  comprehensive coverage of the Women’s World Cup, with a team of former Matildas and Socceroos providing expert analysis and opinion on all the action in France.

“What a month it has been on Optus Sport, showing every minute of every match of the FIFA Women’s World Cup and having so much fun along the way,” host Amy Duggan said.

“We can’t wait for this final, it is going to be the perfect way to conclude coverage of what has been an incredible tournament.” 

The Optus studio broadcast team for the final includes Amy Duggan, Mel McLaughlin, Heather Garriock, Cheryl Salisbury, Richard Bayliss as well as Alicia Ferguson, Mark Schwarzer and Niav Owens pitchside in France.

Meanwhile, England will play Sweden for third place on Sunday morning, with the match set for kick off at 1am.
