Matildas advance to Knockout Round in FIFA Women’s World Cup™ with 4-1 win over Jamaica

Four goals from the sensational Sam Kerr have carried Australia to a 4-1 win over Jamaica, and sealed their passage to the knockout stages of the FIFA Women’s World Cup™ in France.
The Matildas had a striking win in their final Group C match in Grenoble this morning to set up a Round-16 clash with Norway.

This morning’s result saw Australia finish the group stage on six points — Italy finished top of the group on goal difference despite a 1-0 loss to Brazil in Valenciennes.
