It’s been a week of highs and lows for fans of 90210 with news of a reunion series and the devastating loss of one of its stars. Luke Perry died overnight after suffering a major stroke last Wednesday. He was just 52.
Variety has published a statement from his rep which reads;
“Perry was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends,”
“The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning. No further details will be released at this time.”
TMZ reports Perry had signed on for a few guest spots in the reboot of Beverly Hills 90210, but couldn’t commit to being a regular due to his filming schedule for Riverdale.
The actor will be seen in Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming Charles Manson movie, “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”.
