TEN's morning program Studio10 looks set for further disruption with reports circulating viewer favourite Denise Drysdale is set to announce her departure from the show.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford has indicated via twitter Drysdale has “quit her regular commitment” to the program. Drysdale has been appearing on the show every second week this year, as she looked to manage her workload.

A spokesperson for TEN declined to confirm or deny the report, telling DeciderTV; “Denise will address Peter’s tweet on air tomorrow (Thursday) morning."

If confirmed, Drysdale will be the fourth significant departure from the program in 12 months following the resignations of original presenters Ita Buttrose and Jessica Rowe, and the sacking of the show’s creator and executive producer Robert McKnight.

Studio 10 has been battling declining ratings in recent times, with viewers complaining the new format is to news focused and lacks the comedic humour of the original line-up.

Update: Denise has informed the Studio10 audience this morning that she will not be returning to the show in 2018, but will return in 2019. Time will tell if she actually returns or if this is just the PR team managing another exit from a troubled program....
