Get Out (Foxtel Now, February 9)

Get Out is the rare February release that gets nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars (see also: Best Picture winner Casablanca), and you can stream it from the comfort of your home. Written and directed by Jordan Peele (Key & Peele), Get Out tells the story of Chris (Daniel Kaluuya), a black man, and his girlfriend Rose (Allison Williams, Girls). When Chris visits Rose’s parents for the first time, he’s taken aback by how friendly they are, but soon discovers that there’s something more sinister going on.







Star Trek: Discovery: Season 1, Episode 15 – Finale (Netflix, February 12)

It’s the season finale of the newest instalment of the Star Trek canon (which is the subject of debate). There’s no episode description for this episode, which is titled “Will You Take My Hand?” What will happen to the crew of the USS Discovery in this finale, and will they escape the perils of the parallel universe?







Reign: Season 3 (Stan, February 15)

Season 3 of this epic award-winning historical drama sees Mary Queen of Scots (Adelaide Kane) no longer betrothed to French royalty, and finding an enemy in the newly crowned Queen Elizabeth I of England (Rachel Skarsten).







Tonya Harding: The Price of Gold (SBS OnDemand, Available Now)

Two decades after the Nancy Kerrigan scandal, the documentary that inspired ‘I, Tonya’ offers a fascinating, in-depth look at Harding’s life and career, focusing on the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway.
