Screen sees the return of Australia’s favourite and iconic film reviewer Margaret Pomeranz who joins forces with legendary actor, writer and national television critic for The Australian Graeme Blundell.The respected duo will do what they do best; critiquing cinema releases and television every week, Wednesdays from March 7 at 7.30pm on Foxtel Arts.
Screen, a Foxtel Original, will also feature unique and insightful interviews with creative talent from in front of and behind the camera. Arguably, the combined knowledge of Pomeranz and Blundell’s local and international entertainment industries is unmatched by any other program, bringing Foxtel viewers their un-rivalled expertise and insight of both the silver and television screen.
The first two episodes feature Margaret Pomeranz as she interviews Australian director Stephan Elliot, who talks about his recent film Swingin’ Safari and the challenges faced by the filmmaker and also takes a look at Best Foreign Film Oscar nominee The Square and Afghanistan set war drama 12 Strong starring Chris Hemsworth. On the small screen, Graeme takes a look at a new documentary on National Geographic, Jane which explores the legacy of scientist Jane Goodall and ABC’s Harrow and Here and Now on showcase.
To wrap up the first episode, Margaret and Graeme share their thoughts on this year’s Oscar nominees and Margaret reveals whether she believed there were any five-star contenders.

Nothing fills me with more pleasure than appearing with Margaret Pomeranz again for Foxtel Arts, looking at the ideas behind film and TV shows and how they entertain us. Or not.”

Margaret can also be seen presenting a weekly movie of her choice on Foxtel Movies Masterpiece-Margaret Pomeranz Presents each Saturday from 8.30pm, bringing viewers the best films from all over the globe. Pomeranz also hosts World Movies with Margaret, introducing a range of compelling and entertaining titles from the World Movies stable every Wednesday at 8.30pm on Foxtel Movies Masterpiece.
In addition to Screen, Graeme can also be seen hosting on FOX Classics including A Month of Oscar® 2018 in March on FOX Classics.
Following its broadcast on Foxtel Arts, Screen will be available to watch from Foxtel’s on demand library on internet enabled iQ set top boxes. Screen will also be available as a podcast for fans to engage with across all podcast platforms.
