SBS has confirmed an airdate for the Australian premiere of The Young Pope. Broadcasting weekly on SBS from Wednesday 19 April, 10.25pm, the full series will also be available via SBS On Demand from Thursday 20 April.

Created and directed by Academy Award-winner Paolo Sorrentino, The Young Pope follows the story of Lenny Belardo (Jude Law), the newly elected Pius XIII – the youngest and first American Pope in history.
