Did your favourites get up? Disagree with a win and think someone else should have won? Let us know in the comments, and make sure you congratulate all the winners (and those nominated – remember: it’s just an honour to be yada yada yada)…

“I am again humbled to the level of false and patently disingenuous modesty that the patrons of DeciderTV have chosen Mad as Hell as Most Outstanding Comedy Program and me as its Most Outstanding Presenter. Mind you, to have been chosen the most outstanding presenter of a show I wasn’t hosting would have made a mockery of the whole thing, so we should thank fuck it turned out as it did. My only complaint is that there is still no ACTUAL award, so if Steve and Kevin could see to that by next year, that’d be great. Even a book voucher would be nice.”
Shaun Micallef

“Stranger Things, Narcos, Making a Murderer, House of Cards, The Crown and so many more. 2016 wasn’t just a defining year for Netflix, It was the year Netflix redefined how quality TV drama would be consumed globally. It’s hard to believe that just 10 years ago this company was nothing more than a mail-order DVD delivery service.”
Kevin Perry – DeciderTV

Cats/Puppies/Pensioners make you LOL (Seven)

House Rules (Seven)

Offspring (Ten)

The Big Music Quiz (Seven)

The X Factor (Seven)

WINNER – Zumbo’s Just Desserts (Seven)

“It was a show that was Zumbo’s in name only, where Rachel Khoo was the host and the perpetually stiff named host barely spoke. Add layers of fake drama and beat to strong peaks and they still couldn’t maintain  a decent viewership.”
Steve Molk – DeciderTV

Tegan Higginbotham (Whose Line Is It Anyway? Australia – The Comedy Channel)

Trystan Go (The Family Law – SBS)

“Thank you so much for my award. It’s so great to finally be recognised for my acting ability. Not many people can stare blankly at a camera, and then say lines in a bad monotone that later need to be ADR-ed, at great expense to the production. Buoyed by your support, I can’t wait to unleash my barely existent acting chops on the Australian TV landscape again. And I will, when Kate McLennan and I return to the screen later this year. Or that is the plan, at least; she’s currently not speaking to me because I won this award.”
Kate McCartney

“Rake managed a rare feat for a series that returned after an extended hiatus. It not only captivated fans but delivered a stunning new story in the process. Roxburgh owns Cleaver Greene and there is no other who could portray this dastardly, disheveled, dishonourable sex-crazed charm-monster anywhere near as well.”
Steve Molk – DeciderTV

Ashley Zukerman (The Code – ABC)

Craig McLachlan (The Doctor Blake Mysteries – ABC) (The Wrong Girl – Ten)

Marta Dusseldorp

Cleverman (ABC)

Deep Water (SBS)

Narcos – Season 2 (Netflix)

“Season 6 was quite the journey into unfamiliar territory without George RR Martin’s books to guide us. The fighting in ‘Battle of the Bastards’ set the bar very high for all future TV ‘action scenes’ and the revelation of Jon’s parentage has answered the dreams of many book fans.”
Nikole Gunn – DeciderTV
