In this weeks episode of Who Do You Think You Are? Delta Goodremsearches for any clue to others who might have held musical talents in her family tree, she discovers a tangled web of intrigue and an enigmatic ancestor who lived a scandalous life in ‘Marvellous Melbourne’.

Delta’s infectious curiosity is rewarded by the intricate adventures of her great grandmother. She uncovers newspaper reports of a love triangle, “If Miss Bray has got him, she will have to fight for him… The one object of my life is to “down” that woman”. As family secrets are revealed, Delta unveils her spirited great grandmother’s passions and also the twists and turns that lead to scandalous family secrets that have been held for over a hundred years.

Who Do You Think You Are? is a fascinating chronicle of the social, ethnic and cultural evolution of Australia and these emotional and personal stories reveal a bigger picture of Australia’s diverse national identity and how Australians have become the people they are today.
