Foxtel has issued an apology to customers, but has stopped short of offering a refund to customers affected by a technical malfunction, which interrupted coverage of a UFC fight between Miesha Tate vs. Amanda Nunes for the Women’s Bantamweight Title.

Customers were left angry and confused yesterday when vision was lost during the live broadcast of the fight. The Main Event channel charges residential customers $49.95 to view the event.

A spokesperson for Foxtel told DeciderTV today:

“Foxtel can confirm that there was a very brief interruption during the UFC 200 Main Event match between Nunes and Tate; however, all four of the other matches were uninterrupted.  We are currently investigating the cause of the outage and we sincerely apologies to affected customers.  We have been airing a replay of the match since last night and will continue to do so all day today.”
