What could be more awkward (or more entertaining) than Luke McGregor talking about sex?  Oh wait…Luke McGregor trying to get better at sex. Yep way more awkward and seriously funnier.

In this docu comedy series, Luke is going to get better at sex with a little help from sexperts, therapists, scientists, tantric practitioners and sexual empowerment coaches. The aim?  Transforming him from lukewarm to red hot.

Luke Warm Sex premieres on Wednesday, March 16 at 9pm on ABC. Immediately after, the entire six-part series will be available on ABC’s iview, so you can binge on the episodes whenever you want.  After all, who doesn’t want more sex?

Luke doesn’t have the greatest sexual past. But now that he’s a successful comic and actor, practically a celebrity, it is only a matter of hours before girls start throwing themselves at him. So it’s time to prepare.

This series is a crash course in better sex. Luke undertakes weekly challenges and gives us plenty of take home tips. But it’s not just about “doing it”. Luke Warm Sex explores sexual confidence, sexual identity, pleasure, intimacy and creativity. Hopefully if someone as nervous as Luke can get better at sex, then everyone can!

“The main reason I chose to do this series was because I wanted to get better at sex.  I thought I was terrible at it, I really didn’t like talking about it, and the act itself always terrified me”, said Luke.

“Having finished working on this series, sex is no longer something that makes me feel anxious – it’s now something I look forward to.  I finally find sex fun.  I can talk about it openly, and I don’t even feel embarrassed buying condoms anymore (still do with toilet paper though for some reason…)”.

ABC TV’s Head of Entertainment Jon Casimir said, “We asked Luke to be brave, vulnerable and funny in this series, to confront his insecurities while a camera team watched. The result is a series of extraordinary honesty, warmth and discovery. Australia will fall in love with Luke.”
