After taking a break in 2013 due to the
failed resurrection of The Mole, The Amazing Race Australia is returning to
Seven in 2014.
The Amazing Race Australia is looking for
ordinary people ready for the most extraordinary adventure of their lives.
Seven has announced the return of the hugely popular reality series, which has
seen previous winners walk away with $250,000 prize money.
Teams of two will crisscross the globe in a
fast-paced and unrelenting race around the world, unsure of what challenges lie
ahead. Along the way they’ll confront fears, experience new cultures and make
lifelong friends. The previous two series have been a huge hit with audiences
and critics alike with the most recent awarded an International Emmy. The
Amazing Race Australia is a Disney format and will be produced in-house by
Seven.
Applications have now opened for the next
series of the hit reality show.
