Press Release

Network Ten today announced an innovative partnership with McDonald’s Australia for its new breakfast television program Wake Up.

As part of the partnership deal, McDonald’s Australia will set up the smallest McDonald’s outlet in the country, on the Wake Up set.

Although the outlet will not be open to the public, it will serve a range of McDonald’s breakfast items, including McCafe products, to hosts, crew and guests on the show. The smallest McDonald’s outlet in Australia will be manned by two crew members who will be dedicated to serving the team at Wake Up each morning.

Network Ten’s Director of Morning Television, Adam Boland, said: “We are delighted that McDonald’s Australia has become part of the Wake Up family.

“McDonald’s approach to its partnership with Ten is fresh, original and compelling – just like Wake Up.”

McDonald’s Australia Chief Marketing Officer, Mark Lollback, said: “At McDonald’s we’re thrilled to be partnering with Wake Up and helping make mornings a little bit easier for the team on set.

“The McDonald’s Wake Up kitchen will be the smallest we’ve ever set up in Australia and has taken a huge effort from many people in our business to bring it to life.

“It’s great that we’ve been able to create something that’s new and fun for the breakfast TV program,” he said.
