One of the greatest television dramas of all time is continuing it’s ascent into a epic finale. After Walt’s revealing of his plan to stop Hank from putting him in Prison, and Jesse’s discovery that he’s been lied to, and manipulated this whole time. This episode was certainly a step-back drama wise but setup many events to come.

We got 2 pov’s this week one from Walt and one for Jesse. Continuing on with Jesse breaking out of the control that Walt has developed on him. He is ready to burn Walt’s house down when Hank stops him before he follows through and convinces him to come and help him to stop Walt. We switch to Walt frantically trying to regroup and find Jesse and cover up the damage that Jesse has done to his house. The next significant seen we see comes as a bit of a surprise. We see a very different side of Skylar when she suggest that Walt take Jesse out as he is a threat. This is where the title “Rabid dog comes from. Jesse in this case Walt’s trusty dog up until this point, has become erratic and out of control even saying “What’s one more to us” Skylar wants him to put Jesse down just as you would do to a “Rabid Dog”. Walt in a sign of loyalty to Jesse downplays his threat to please Skylar.

Elsewhere Hank after hearing a message left by Walt for Jesse wants to set him up with a wire to meet Walt and incriminate him. Hear we see how powerful Jesse see’s Walt “You two guys are just guys, Ok? Mr. White he’s the Devil” He says. Jesse concocts every scenario in which Walt will have him killed at the meet. He gets on a pay phone instead of meeting him and tells him “I’m going to get you where you really live” what that means is open to a lot of interpretation. Does Jesse know where Walt left his money? Is he gonna try and ruin his reputation? What is he plotting?

Lastly Walt gives a call to Todd to get in contact with the man he used to kill off all of Gus’s former men. Is he going to kill off Jesse, or Hank? Or is he planning something else. The next episode should give a great picture into where the finale will be taking us.

With 4 episodes remaining Breaking Bad is not losing a beat, and it’s almost impossible to appreciate their development knowing that the series could go on so much longer. See you guys next week!
