Black Narcissus – FOX SHOWCASE, 8.30pm
Gemma Arterton stars as Sister Clodagh in this new miniseries, based on Rumer Godden’s 1939 Gothic novel of the same name. Eager to establish a convent high in the Himalayas, within a seemingly haunted clifftop palace, Clodagh has quite the challenge on her hands in this eerie three-part adaptation that also stars Aisling Franciosi, Alessandro Nivola and the late Diana Rigg.
Danger Zone – Nickelodeon, from 5pm
Settle in for back-to-back episodes of everyone’s favourite Nickelodeon superhero series Henry Danger and Danger Force in this action-packed hour of power, airing weekdays from 5pm. But wait, there’s more! Fans will be in their element with interviews with the cast and special behind-the-scenes clips you won’t want to miss.

The Day Sport Stood Still – FOX SHOWCASE, 8.30pm
Like so many industries, the sports world was hit dramatically by the recent COVID-19 pandemic. This HBO special hears from a variety of voices from different codes to see how those involved had to pause their careers – and how it led them in some surprising directions. A key focus is NBA Players Association president Chris Paul who takes us through how the NBA famously reopened, safely, in a “bubble”.
Happy Halloween, Scooby Doo! – Foxtel Movies Family, 7.30pm
With a lot of young viewers on school holidays at the moment, this is a Wednesday night treat. Those popular pals Scooby-Doo (voiced by Frank Welker) and Shaggy (Matthew Lillard) love Halloween – but this year, things go sour when their pumpkin patch is infected by toxic ooze that creates giant, terrifying pumpkins!
The Croods: A New Age – Store
In this fun sequel for all ages, life for our favourite prehistoric family the Croods is challenged when they stumble upon an oasis far removed from their basic cave dwellings created by the Betterman family. In fact, Guy (voiced by Ryan Reynolds), the boyfriend of Eep (Emma Stone), is so impressed he becomes a permanent house guest!

The Burnt Orange Heresy – Foxtel Movies Premiere, 8.30pm
Australian actress Elizabeth Debicki co-stars in this psychological thriller about art critic James (Claes Bang), who is coerced by a shady art dealer (Mick Jagger) into stealing from the enigmatic painter Jerome Debney (Donald Sutherland). Marred by his growing insecurities and greed, James’s simple heist soon spirals out of control.
2021 NRL Telstra Premiership: Round 5 – FOX LEAGUE, LIVE from 7.50pm
Tonight’s NRL match between the Rabbitohs and the Broncos is a must-see; the Bunnies may be on home turf, but Brisbane won’t hold back. Round 5 continues with the Sea Eagles meeting the Warriors on Friday, April 9 at 6pm, with the Panthers versus the Raiders at 7.55pm, before an action-packed weekend of footy begins with the Titans taking on the Knights at 3pm on Saturday, April 10.
2021 Toyota AFL Premiership: Round 4 – FOX FOOTY, LIVE from 7.20pm
Sydney Swans take on Essendon tonight in what is sure to be a nailbiting game, given their fierce rivalry and previous match-ups. And that’s just the beginning of a huge round of AFL action that continues with Port Adelaide meeting Richmond Tigers at 7.50pm on Friday, April 9. Then the weekend takes flight with a clash between Western Bulldogs and Brisbane Lions at 1.45pm on Saturday, April 10.

Just in time for the school holidays, FOXTEL has a Ben-tastic pop-up channel featuring all things Ben 10. The Masters – FOX SPORTS 505, LIVE from 5am
There is plenty to get excited about when The Masters returns this month to the pristine Augusta National course in Georgia, US. From the outstanding Australian pros, including Jason Day and Cameron Smith, to world number-one Dustin Johnson, the best of the best are ready to show their skills on the green.
Cut Throat City – Foxtel Movies Premiere, 8.30pm
In this crime drama set after the events of Hurricane Katrina, four childhood friends (Demetrius Shipp Jr, Keean Johnson, Shameik Moore and Denzel Whitaker) return to find their homes and lives destroyed. With no job prospects, they turn to a gangster for help and become pressured into a dangerous casino robbery.

Enjoy the director’s original vision for the superhero blockbuster, in all its four-hour-length glory, as Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Batman (Ben Affleck), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) unite to save the world from an apocalyptic threat.
Repco Supercars Championship: Tasmania SuperSprint – FOX SPORTS 506, LIVE from 10am
With a full calendar and a stacked starting line-up, Australia’s most popular motorsport continues with the highly anticipated Tasmania SuperSprint. Rising star Anton De Pasquale is chasing top drivers, such as Shell V-Power Racing Team teammates Mark Winterbottom and Will Davison, but Shane van Gisbergen driving for Red Bull Ampol Racing is the man everyone wants to leave in their exhaust.
Casualty – BBC First, 7.30pm
The world’s longest-running medical drama returns and, true to form, it’s not long before chaos strikes the emergency department of Holby City Hospital. Besides facing the impending COVID-19 threat, the team are dealing with plenty of personal crises too, with Marty (Shaheen Jafargholi) trying to reconnect with his homophobic father (Philip Wright) and Connie (Amanda Mealing) battling her inner demons.
Ghost Adventures at Joe Exotic Zoo – TLC, 10.28pm
Just when you thought the tale of the ‘Tiger King’ couldn’t get any stranger, there’s another chapter to the sensational saga – the zoo formerly owned by Joe Exotic is haunted! Responding to reports from Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park staff, who claim to regularly experience mysterious activity, the crew of Ghost Adventures are called in to investigate an undertaking like no other.

Seberg – Foxtel Movies Premiere, 8.30pm
Kristen Stewart gives a critically acclaimed performance in this biopic as French New Wave icon Jean Seberg who during the 1960s, drew the attention of the FBI due to her political and romantic involvement with black civil rights activist Hakim Jamal (Anthony Mackie). Also stars Vince Vaughn and Margaret Qualley.
Food Unwrapped, s9 – LifeStyle Food, 7.30pm
A real treat for food lovers and guaranteed to get the taste buds tingling, Food Unwrapped returns for another gastronomic expedition to explore the secrets behind some of the world’s favourite foods, starting with that British staple – mushy peas!
Impossible Croc Rescue – Animal Planet, 8.30pm
As part of its weekly Earth Night programming, Animal Planet delivers this special which highlights the dangers of polluting – when a crocodile in Indonesia was discovered with a car tyre around its neck. Follow the efforts made to free it without endangering the croc, or any humans!
